Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Lead DevOps Engineer who can take ownership of designing, implementing, and managing scalable CI/CD and cloud infrastructure in Azure. This role demands strong technical expertise combined with leadership capabilities to drive DevOps initiatives, mentor team members, and enforce best practices across projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Drive and manage containerized deployments leveraging Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep and ARM templates for scalable and secure infrastructure provisioning.
- Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and implement automated rollback and recovery strategies.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and architecture teams to optimize release workflows.
- Act as a technical leader and mentor for the DevOps team, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and security standards.
- Proactively identify areas for automation, improvement, and cost optimization within the cloud infrastructure.
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
- Proven hands-on experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Strong experience in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container orchestration.
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep and ARM templates.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment and infrastructure issues across environments.
- Solid understanding of cloud security, scalability, and DevOps governance.
- Experience in leading DevOps teams, setting standards, and driving adoption of DevOps culture.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
