Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Analytics, with at least 2+ years working primarily on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong expertise in SQL – writing, optimizing, and managing complex queries.
- Hands-on experience with key Azure Data Services, including:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure SQL
- Azure Data Lake
- Azure Databricks
- Experience with data visualization tools – preferably Power BI.
- Solid understanding of:
- Data modeling
- Data warehousing
- ETL processes
- Database management and optimization.
- Design, build, and manage scalable data pipelines using ADF and Databricks.
- Integrate and transform large datasets across multiple sources into Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL environments.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business consumption.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of data architecture.
- Apply best practices for ETL design, data governance, and data quality assurance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and cloud engineers across projects.
- Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Microsoft Certification (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate).
- Experience with DevOps, Git, and CI/CD for data workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum project methodologies.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards in cloud environments.
