Lead IT&V Automation Test Engineer

Overview

• Define test objectives, scope, methodologies, and success criteria to ensure alignment with project goals and customer requirements.
• Conduct testing and debugging activities to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of automotive systems and components.
• Identify and isolate defects, analyze root causes, and propose corrective actions to address issues encountered during testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test environments and frameworks to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.
• Validate testing requirements against customer specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality guidelines to ensure thorough test coverage and compliance.
• Document, track, and prioritize testing requirements using appropriate tools and methodologies, such as ASPICE and ODX.
• Evaluate potential risks and uncertainties associated with testing activities, considering factors such as test environment, test coverage, and system complexity.
• Configure and maintain hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test setups and platforms to simulate real-world operating conditions and facilitate comprehensive testing of automotive systems.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and functionality of HIL test environments to support testing activities effectively.
• Utilize CANoe and Vector CANalyzer tools for testing and validation of automotive communication protocols, including CAN, LIN, and UDS.
• Configure test scenarios, capture and analyze network traffic, and verify protocol compliance to ensure robust and reliable communication in automotive systems.
