Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Python Developer with deep expertise in Python, FastAPI, and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive high-quality backend development, ensure CI/CD best practices, and lead a team toward delivering scalable APIs and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of backend systems using Python (FastAPI)
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing RESTful APIs
• Implement and optimize Docker containers with best practices
• Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes
• Oversee and refine CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing
• Collaborate with DevOps, frontend, and QA teams
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews
• Drive architectural decisions for performance and scalability
  
  

Key Skills & Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python with deep hands-on experience in FastAPI
• Expertise in Docker: image optimization, security, and management
• Experience deploying and managing apps in Kubernetes clusters
• Solid grasp of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Experience with microservices architecture and API gateway concepts
• Good understanding of security best practices in backend development
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus

• Experience with async programming in Python
• Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
