Job Description:We are looking for experienced Manual Test Engineers who are passionate about ensuring application quality and delivering reliable user experiences.This role is ideal for professionals with 23 years of hands-on manual testing experience who have worked on web or SaaS applications and are confident handling system testing, UAT, and API validation. If you bring strong analytical thinking, structured defect management experience, and a willingness to grow into automation, wed love to connect.
The RoleAs a Manual Test Engineer, you will play a key role in validating application functionality, identifying risks, and ensuring high-quality releases. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and report directly to the QA Lead.This role focuses primarily on manual testing, with opportunities to gradually build exposure to automation using Java and Selenium.
ResponsibilitiesUnderstanding functional and system requirements and converting them into comprehensive test scenariosDesigning and executing detailed manual test cases for web and SaaS applicationsPerforming System Testing and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cyclesIdentifying, documenting, and managing defects throughout the defect lifecycle using JIRAValidating REST APIs using Postman and analyzing JSON responsesCollaborating with product and development teams to clarify requirements and edge casesMaintaining clear and structured documentation in ConfluencePerforming regression testing prior to production releasesApplying strong critical thinking to identify gaps, risks, and potential failure pointsSupporting early-stage automation initiatives and learning Java and Selenium-based testing practices
Ideal ProfileYou have a Bachelors Degree in Computer science or related field or 23 years of hands-on manual testing experienceYou have solid experience in application testing, preferably web-based or SaaS platforms hosted on cloud environmentsYou possess strong experience in writing structured and effective test casesYou have practical exposure to System Testing and UATYou understand defect lifecycle management and have worked extensively with JIRAYou have hands-on experience using Postman for API testingYou have a mandatory understanding of REST APIs and JSONYou are comfortable using Confluence for documentationYou communicate fluently in EnglishYou demonstrate strong analytical ability and critical thinkingYou are open to learning and building automation skills using Java and Selenium
