About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our engineering team.

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs for high performance applications.

The role requires hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design database schemas and write optimized SQL queries for MySQL.
• Ensure code quality by writing unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito).
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver robust features.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance and scalability issues in production.
• Adhere to Git-based version control and agile development processes.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8 or above).
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
• Proficiency in MySQL (experience with AWS RDS is a plus).
• Solid understanding of JSON parsing and data transformation.
• Experience in logging and exception handling (SLF4J, Logback).
• Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing frameworks.
