Network Engineer Level 2

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Management & Maintenance:

• Configure, manage, and maintain Avaya, Dell, and HP switches.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches.
• Monitor and manage F5 Load Balancer for Server Load Balancing (SLB).
• Oversee Fortinet AP Firewall/UTM management devices, ensuring network security policies are enforced.

2. Security & Compliance:

• Implement and manage SonicWall Firewall/UTM devices to ensure network security.
• Manage Fortinet and SonicWall devices, ensuring compliance with security standards and practices.
• Regularly update and patch firewalls and UTM devices to protect against vulnerabilities.

3. Load Balancing:

• Manage and configure Radware Alteon Load Balancer for Link Load Balancing (LLB) and Server Load Balancing (SLB).
• Optimize load balancing strategies to ensure efficient distribution of network traffic across servers.

4. Time Synchronization:

• Configure and manage Symmetricom NTP servers to ensure accurate time synchronization across the network.
• Monitor and troubleshoot time synchronization issues to prevent network disruptions.

5. Troubleshooting & Support:

• Provide L2 support for network-related issues escalated from the L1 team.
• Diagnose and resolve network problems related to switches, routers, load balancers, firewalls, and UTM devices.
• Work closely with vendors and service providers for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution.

6. Network Monitoring:

• Use network monitoring tools to proactively monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Analyze network traffic patterns and provide recommendations for network optimization.

7. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Prepare reports on network performance, incidents, and resolutions for management review.

8. Collaboration & Communication:

• Collaborate with other IT teams, such as the security and server teams, to ensure network integrity and security.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on network status and issues.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on managing and supporting the listed

products and technologies.

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, F5 Certified Administrator, Fortinet NSE, Radware

Certified Professional, SonicWall CSSA, or equivalent are preferred.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with the listed products (Avaya, Dell, HP, Cisco, F5, Fortinet, Radware, SonicWall, Symmetricom).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹191,744.73 - ₹700,000.00 per year
