Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile and proactive individual to join our team as a Node.js Developer with a strong emphasis on DevOps practices. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for developing robust backend applications using Node.js, while also playing a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure with Terraform. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bridging the gap between development and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Node.js Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend APIs and services using Node.js.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• DevOps (CI/CD & Infrastructure):
• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for various applications, ensuring seamless and efficient software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain version control systems (Git).
• Continuously research and introduce new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated into both development and DevOps processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Node.js Development:
• Proven experience in developing backend applications using Node.js and frameworks like React JS, Express.js, NestJS, etc.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and promises.
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL - MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• DevOps:
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, AWS Code Pipeline).
• Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (Docker).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Git-Bash, Python).
• General:
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Good to Have- Automation Testing

• Knowledge and experience with automation testing frameworks and methodologies (Jest, Mocha, Cypress for Node.js; Selenium, Playwright for general automation).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible).
