Job Description
Job Summary:
As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and report issues, verify fixes, and contribute to the overall improvement of our software development processes.
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual/automated test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identify and report software defects, bugs, and issues, and track them through resolution.
- Perform regression testing to validate the impact of fixes and changes on existing functionality.
- Collaborate with developers to provide clear and concise information about defects and assist in their resolution.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and execution for both new features and maintenance releases.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging testing techniques.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduated in B.Tech/B.E. or MCA in CS, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Good understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with test case design techniques and test execution.
- Ability to write clear and concise bug reports and test documentation.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills to identify and reproduce defects.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams. Hiring Location: Sector 125, Noida Work Mode: Onsite
