Senior App. Developer (GIC)
Job Description
As a Senior App Developer on our Team, you will design, develop, and maintain software solutions critical to the operations of UPS Healthcare by incorporating and utilizing approved standards and technologies in the analysis and design of complex solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Duties include leading and managing the team and providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Collaborate with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives.
- Provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance.
- Provide input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects
- Analyze and gather requirements for new implementations and change requests.
- Detailed Technical specification and coordination with cross technology Team.
- Coding with best practices in mind.
- Participate in meetings and discussions to understand business requirements.
- Work with architects and other stakeholders to define integration architecture.
- Collaborating with business analysts and business partners.
- Post go-live support.
- Involves in technical enhancements and automation of reprocessing of messages in case of environment outage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field – Preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Middleware development, design, and implementation
- FTP application configurations
- Transfer site push and pull rule knowledge at FTP level
- Troubleshooting skillset for support
- AS2 application configuration
- Technical understanding of certificates and encryption
- GIC experience is a plus
- Filehub server configuration for push and pull rules in ITX
- Ability to multitask and work on projects as requested
- Strong communication skills to help elicit requirements for new connections and file flows
- Reliable
- Manage change control deployments for client go lives
- Strong analytical and design skills
- Exhibit creative thinking while defining sound and practical solutions.
- Self-starter with the ability to learn complex business processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in WMS and logistics environment is a plus.
