Job Purpose:
As part of the global Operational Excellence team the Senior Data/Reporting Analyst owns setting up the visibility required for our Operational leaders across more than 250 port agency offices to effectively and efficiently drive their local business. The role helps tie together various business processes with data, and partners with Operational Excellence leadership to apply it for direction setting at both operational, tactical and strategic levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include:
- Primary responsibility for developing and maintaining the regular dashboards and reports used in our Port Agency operation.
- On an ad hoc basis ensure that additional visibility – through reports, analytics and hypothesis testing - is brought into specific business processing requiring data support to drive the right direction and make impactful decision.
- Collaborate with our Global Data team in IT to establish the technical requirements as part of our on-going global data and reporting strategy development.
- Educate and enable local data users to work effectively with data through a combination of technical and analytics training and sharing of good practice
- Actively engaging with and seeking inspiration from our front-line operations colleagues to generate ideas for how data, information and insights help us move the business forward: Understand their role and responsibility and how they structure and manage their day whether they own a port call or lead a larger team.
Essential:
- Analytically-savvy and with many years of experience working with data in Excel, PowerBI and similar applications
- Prior exposure to the port agency business processes
