Job Title: Network Build Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Build Engineer to lead the deployment, configuration, and management of enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in routing, switching, Cisco data center technologies, SD-WAN (Cisco or similar), and network security including firewalls (Palo Alto or equivalent). This role involves working closely with network architects to ensure the smooth implementation and operational stability of network solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, configure, and manage enterprise network infrastructure across data centers and branch locations.
• Deploy and maintain Cisco Nexus switches (2K/5K/7K/9K), VPC, VXLAN, and related technologies.
• Implement and support SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela or similar).
• Configure and manage firewalls (Palo Alto or equivalent), including policy setup and threat prevention.
• Address implementation and operational issues during network rollouts.
• Collaborate with network architects and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Maintain network documentation including High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and operational runbooks.
• Support and implement routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and MPLS in enterprise environments.
• Ensure network security best practices are followed during deployments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8–12 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.
• Strong expertise in:
• Routing & Switching (Cisco)
• Cisco Nexus Data Center Switching (2K–9K, VPC, VXLAN)
• SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela or similar)
• Network Security (Palo Alto or similar firewalls)
• MPLS, BGP, OSPF
• Experience with Cisco ISE, Cisco Wireless, and Cisco DNAC is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities.

Certifications:

• Mandatory: CCNA or equivalent
• Preferred: CCNP or equivalent
• Additional certifications such as Palo Alto PCNSE, Cisco Certified Specialist (ISE, DNAC, SD-WAN) are a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
