Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python and backend development, along with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design. You will work on scalable, high-performance systems and play a key role in system architecture, design, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using Python.
  
• Design and implement complex algorithms and data structures.
  
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs using frameworks like Django.
  
• Handle file processing, including XML parsing, large file handling, and data transformation.
  
• Write clean, modular, and testable code with unit tests using PyTest.
  
• Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ensure efficient database interaction.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies.
  
• Contribute to architecture discussions and improve service design for performance and scalability.
  
  

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Python (Backend only).
  
• Deep understanding of OOPs, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
  
• Hands-on experience with Django, NumPy, and other relevant libraries.
  
• Experience in unit testing, particularly with PyTest.
  
• Proven expertise in parsing XML files, working with file systems and large data files.
  
• Strong SQL skills – performance tuning, writing stored procedures, and database optimization.
  
• Knowledge of Service Design Concepts and familiarity with functional programming principles.
  
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum practices.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with other backend technologies or microservices architecture.
  
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, etc.).
  
• CI/CD tools and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
