Senior QA Engineer

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer who can design, implement, and scale robust testing strategies across our platform. You'll work across the stack (web frontend, backend services, AI integrations), drive both manual and automated testing, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure high-quality, reliable releases. You'll play a critical role in laying the QA foundations as we scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test strategies for web-based applications and backend APIs.
• Drive automation efforts using JavaScript-based frameworks (e. g., Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
• Write and maintain automated tests across frontend (React, Angular) and backend (Spring Boot, Nest.js ) layers.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to define acceptance criteria and catch issues early.
• Own test coverage metrics and quality gates in CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain test data and environments that simulate real-world customer scenarios.
• Conduct exploratory, regression, performance, and integration testing as needed.
• Document, track, and communicate defects effectively with the team.
• Be an advocate for quality and user experience across the engineering lifecycle.
  
  

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in QA with a strong foundation in testing principles and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience building automation frameworks using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Exposure to modern web stacks - ideally testing apps built with React, Angular, Nest.js .
• Experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or similar.
• Good understanding of CI/CD practices and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Product mindset - care deeply about user experience, edge cases, and robustness.
• Startup mindset: resourceful, fast-moving, and outcome-focused.
• Experience with enterprise IT SaaS software (Salesforce, Oracle ERP, NetSuite, etc. ) is a plus.
