Key Responsibilities
Analyze BIOS/UEFI test plans and derive comprehensive test cases.
Identify negative, edge, and corner‑case scenarios to strengthen test coverage.
Validate test cases for completeness, accuracy, and relevance.
Perform test‑escape analysis to improve future test strategies.
Execute system‑level tests involving BIOS/UEFI features, FW updates and Embedded Controller (EC) features
Power management and hardware module interactions
Debug system behavior in collaboration with BIOS, firmware, and hardware engineering teams.
Validate BIOS setup changes, boot flows, platform configurations, and post‑boot functionality.
Ensure platform stability across multiple configurations and hardware variants.
Track quality metrics and drive continuous improvements in the test lifecycle.

Work Experience
- 5 to 8 years of hands‑on experience in system-level testing, firmware testing, or BIOS/UEFI validation.
- Good knowledge of:
- UEFI BIOS features
- Embedded Controller firmware
- Platform hardware modules
- System boot processes and initialization flows
- Solid understanding of debugging tools, logs, and platform‑level diagnostics.
- Experience with test automation frameworks is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, corner cases, and potential escape scenarios.
- Good communication and reporting abilities
