Candidate should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in eCommerce domain and predominantly should have worked on Shopify.

• Should showcase leadership skills and should be able to effectively manage L3 in the capacity of an L3 lead from offshore.

• Perform full-stack web application development with a variety of languages including but not limited to Javascript/TypeScript/React.

• Proven skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as a thorough grasp of the DOM.

• Previous experience working with a custom theme and/or the Storefront API.

• Working knowledge of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating.

• Previous experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps.

• Person should have good depth in the understanding of support processes, ITSM principles and should have been involved in at least one project which runs on support model.

• Prefer someone with experience in building unique solutions or custom apps in Shopify.

• In-depth knowledge and expertise with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and current JavaScript frameworks.

• Should have good awareness on integration PBCs like Avalara (tax), Braintree (payments), ESW (pricing), Yotpo (ratings & review), Middleware systems for data transfer and downstream processing etc.

• Prefer someone with knowledge on one of the cloud provider services among AWS/Azure/GCP.

• A solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and can express that understanding in code.

• Familiarity with at least one JavaScript framework like React (current stack), Vue, Angular, or similar.

• An understanding of agile, lean, and DevOps principles; testing and CI/CD.

• Person should have good understanding of observability tools, issue analysis, troubleshooting, debugging etc. NewRelic being the preferred observability tool.
