Senior Web Developer

About Role -

This is a key role in support of Maersk Technology's movement to platform-based development and increased usage of microservices, including (but not limited to) disconnected cloud platform (Azure). Joining Maersk Technology as a Security Engineer will enable you to gain broad business knowledge of the company’s activities globally, in addition to understanding how the complexity of technology supports the digitized transport and logistics business. The role operates using agile methodology delivering timely and effective cyber security of general and bespoke solutions.

In this role you will be exposed to a wide and challenging range of business issues through regular engagement with stakeholders across all management levels within Maersk. You will work and communicate across geographical and cultural borders that will enable you to build a strong professional network. Responsibilities:

• Looking for an experienced professional with web editorial experience on Sitecore CMS version 9: The individual needs to have absolute familiarity in usage of Sitecore item trees, components, templates, sub-layouts, renderings, Content editor, Experience editor, Scheduled tasks, page synthesis and Sitecore database-publishing and environment- promotion features
• The candidate needs to be very proficient in English and should have experience in dealing with international audiences with superior stakeholder management skills
• The individual will be a member of the team who will play an web editorial role in using the existing components of Sitecore services and the underlying technologies. The role will require working closely with UX Architects, Tech leads, Program managers, Designers and Project Owners to build state-of-the-art Web pages for campaigns and Maersk websites using Sitecore 9 platforms.
• The individual would bring in sound experience of crafting exceptional content experiences on Maersk.com and the ability to use the power of personalization tools and experimentation techniques to offer seamless and personalized customer experiences on Maersk.com
• The individual will need to bring in his expertise of what a great web page design looks like and needs to proactively bring in his ideas onto the table for the development of web pages. The candidate needs to be proactive to come up with top of trend web development and design ideas for webpages and not someone who is just a task taker
• The individual needs to have a strong eye for doing quality checks on the developed page considering the web standard best practices and internal web regulations before releasing them to Production.
• Will support content marketing and campaign programs, serving the need to expand our digital presence and drive demand by utilizing the best of HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills to accurately translate responsive and adaptive design visions into code for landing pages using Sitecore, elevating the user experience with clear call to actions that drive business on the website.
• Manage daily website content requests, including creating new pages, updating graphics, editing existing content and troubleshooting issues. Maintain ownership of the quality and consistency of our web standards, content, and structure. Work with business stakeholders and cross functional teams on clarifying, stating options, and defining solutions for content requests.
• Guarantee brand compliance, correct tagging and general correctness prior to delivery and publishing of websites and deliver optimized content for Search Engines using keywords and meta information strategically.
