Software Engineer- Java Backend Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software for NMS Orchestration solution.
• Collaborate with a team of NMS Engineers to design and build a highly scalable, feature-rich NMS platform.
• Tackle complex and unsolved technical challenges.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to software engineering best practices.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain microservices and backend APIs.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement unit tests and participate in system/integration testing.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to support continuous integration and delivery.
• Ensure security and compliance best practices are followed in the backend infrastructure.
• Maintain technical documentation for developed components and services.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and support engineers.

Experience Requirements:

• 8-14 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Java, multithreading, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB/Cassandra.
• Familiarity with EMS/NMS platforms and FCAPS model.
• Hands-on experience with SNMP, NETCONF, and YANG data models.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to notification frameworks such as Kafka or AMQP is desirable.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker Swarm and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Understanding of SD-WAN, cloud security, or WLAN is a bonus.
