Software Engineer I
Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Looking for candidate with 4-5 Yrs of exp in Java (Backend Engineer) as primary
- Work on the complete software development lifecycle – from requirements to production
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs primarily using Java, microservices architecture(Spring boot) .
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Contribute to the development of cloud-native applications using AWS services
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to maintain code quality.
- Support and enhance existing systems, including components built with Java and Spring Boot.
- Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
- Design database schemas and manage data using MongoDB/dynamo/nosql
- Integrate AWS Kinesis or kafka to enable real-time event streaming and communication.
- Implement best practices for CI/CD and cloud deployments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and optimize systems for speed and scalability.
- Strong experience with Java and microservice architecture(Spring boot).
- Solid grasp of RESTful API design, HTTP, and API integration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS ECS Fargate, NoSQL DB (preferred: Mongo DB) and API Gateway.
- Knowledge in API security frameworks, token management and user access control including OAuth, JWT, OpenAPI.
- Proficiency with Kafka/Kinesis for real-time messaging and event-driven systems.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or CloudWatch.
- Ability to work in an Agile / SCRUM environment
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to drive consensus and manage cross-team dependencies.
- Strong focus on customer experience in delivery and logistics systems.
