Process Overview

Global Markets Technology & Operations provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies. In addition, GMT&O provides Sales, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client service processes for Trading, Capital Markets, Wealth Management businesses.

Job Description

The position is part of Global Markets Operations Technology within the GBAMT organization provides technology solutions across a wide range of Global Markets Operations functions (Security Operations) including FX derivatives, Bonds, Currency futures, Interest rate futures & Bond futures

The position would involve learning and adapting to business process quickly, working on python technologies and securities domain especially FX derivatives, Bonds, Currency futures, Interest rate futures & Bond futures. The position is for a quick learner, and someone ready to take ownership and a self-starter.

Responsibilities*

• Work within a distributed Agile team
• Liaise with Business Analysts and end users to go through the requirements & design
• Contribute to functional & technical design
• Write requirements using Specification By Examples (SBE), automated tests & deliver software
• Contribute to code build and review
• Build excellent relationships across technology and user communities
• Mentor less experienced team members using methods such as informal training, pair programming etc
  
  

Requirements

• Education- BE/ BTECH
• Experience Range* 9- 12 years
• Certifications If Any NA
  
  

Foundational Skills

• Strong background and development experience in AS400 and Mainframe technology – IMS DB, CICS, DB2, REXX, z O/S IDZ and dev ops. Working experience in version control tool Endevor, ISPW.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, communication & collaborative working skills
• A history of consistent experience in successful application development in multiple technologies – we value diversity of experience and prefer people who have worked on many different types of project.
• Experience working on Investment Banking technology solutions, preferably in Securities and Middle & Back Office areas
• Experienced in using design patterns and following best software engineering practices
• Good, confident analytical skills are essential as all members of the team will be involved with defining user stories and specification by examples through direct exposure to the users
• Demonstrate a desire for continual self-improvement through learning & development
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
