Software Engineer III

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer III with strong expertise in backend development to design, build, and optimize scalable, high-performance systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, micro services architecture, cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java and micro services.
• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
• Work with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) to build cloud-native solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Drive performance improvements, scalability enhancements, and system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.

Required Qualifications:

• 6–8 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+) and object-oriented programming.
• Expertise in micro services architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of containers (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS, or similar).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance tuning.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Exposure to observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Ability to mentor, coach, and lead technical discussions.
