Position Overview

Autodesk is looking for a Software Engineer, Salesforce to join our team responsible for developing features that meet business needs. You will be working with a group of engineers currently in a hyper-growth phase, collaboratively building an expanded set of features both within and across teams. Together, they strive to build best-of-breed solutions for a company with a vision to imagine, design, and create a better world. In this hybrid workplace role, you will report to the Engineering Manager and work from our Bangalore location.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze complex business requirements, providing expert input on Salesforce solutions
• Work with architects and other principal engineers across teams to define scalable functionalities and, through innovative designs, deliver high-quality development
• Write advanced code to implement complex custom functionalities using Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components
• Oversee and participate in customization efforts, ensuring declarative tools like Flows and Workflow Rules are used effectively
• Implement complex integrations with other systems and applications using APIs, middleware, and connectors
• Collaborate with team members located across APAC and the US.
• Develop complex data solutions within Salesforce, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data migrations
• Design and implement advanced testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance tests for complex scenarios
• Manage complex deployments of Salesforce configurations and code, ensuring seamless transitions between environments
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of complex solutions, including technical specifications, data models, and release notes
• Lead efforts to monitor and optimize the performance of complex Salesforce applications, including code optimization and query tuning
• Stay at the forefront of Salesforce technology by researching and evaluating new features, tools, and industry trends for potential adoption
• Collaborate with other senior team members, administrators, business analysts, and project managers to lead complex projects to successful completion
• Experience with industry-standard repository tools such as Git
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
• Salesforce Developer certification (e.g., Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud)
• 2–4 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and limitations
• Experience with Sales Cloud and sales processes
• Experience working on complex Sales Cloud projects
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and declarative development
• Experience with Salesforce integrations and data management
• Knowledge of best practices in Salesforce development and design patterns
