About The Role
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Software Tester to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to both manual and automated testing efforts, applying strong testing methodologies and working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Your work will help ensure the quality, reliability, and user satisfaction of our software products through thoughtful testing and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive test cases based on requirement specifications and design documents and prepare relevant test data.
- Perform functional, smoke, and regression testing, documenting results and reporting issues clearly and constructively.
- Identify and log defects using tools such as JIRA and follow up on resolutions.
- Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using JMeter, and communicate findings effectively.
- Actively participate in daily stand-ups, scrum meetings, and team discussions.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and continuous improvement.

About You
- 2–4 years of experience in software testing for mobile and web-based applications.
- Proficiency in creating detailed test cases and preparing relevant test data.
- Hands-on experience with database for data validation and backend testing.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and various testing levels and types.
- Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Agile methodologies is preferred.
- ISTQB certification and Python knowledge are added advantages.
- Basic scripting knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
