Overview
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in writing and executing test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
Participate in manual testing of software applications to help identify bugs, inconsistencies, or user experience issues.
Document bugs and issues clearly in the issue tracking system (e.g., Jira), including steps to reproduce.
Support regression testing activities to ensure recent changes haven’t affected existing features.
Collaborate with QA team members and developers to understand the testing scope and resolve issues.
Help verify that software meets defined user requirements and functions across various platforms.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions about quality improvements.
Learn about automation frameworks and tools; optionally assist in maintaining simple automated test scripts.
Gain exposure to performance, accessibility, and cross-browser testing principles.
Requirements:
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic Understanding of Software Testing: Familiarity with the software development life cycle and basic QA concepts.
Attention to Detail: Ability to identify inconsistencies or potential issues in user interfaces and system behavior.
Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills for clear bug reporting and team collaboration.
Learning Attitude: Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies.
