Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for handling complex data challenges and providing insights that drive strategic decisions across various departments within the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sophisticated models and algorithms that improve efficiency and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data science techniques, a proficiency in data analysis, and a passion for solving complex problems. You will be instrumental in helping our company use data to optimize business operations and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced data analytics projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and drive data solutions.
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems efficiently.
• Oversee and mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance and sharing best practices.
• Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and support decision making processes.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and reports.
• Continuously assess and enhance data collection and processing techniques to improve data quality.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest data science trends and tools.
• Assist in the integration of data science solutions into current business processes and systems.
• Implement scalable data analytics solutions in a cloud-based environment to support business needs.
• Document processes and methodologies to ensure data science projects are reproducible and transparent.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a data science or advanced analytics role is required.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is mandatory.
• Strong experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or scikit-learn.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical and strategic mindset.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop or Spark is highly desirable.
