Sr. Firmware Test Engineer

• Defining test strategies, writing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans for white as well as black box testing.
• Review requirements in details and ensure those are complete and testable.
• Develop positive and negative test cases.
Develop automation scripts using open source tools or industry standard tools. [
• Must Have]
• Participate in code reviews for the test scripts and automation framework
• Execute test cases manually and/or through automated scripts.
• Build customized test setup and maintain the same.
• Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures.
• Prepare traceability report, bug log, and quality metrics.
• Develop Product Domain Knowledge, participate / conduct in team meetings and Knowledge Sharing Sessions.
• Take responsibility for multiple tasks in multiple projects simultaneously.
• Report / communicate project progress to stakeholders periodically.
• Adherence to CMMi / ISO quality process.
• Assume additional roles and responsibilities as required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Instrumentation Engineering or M. Sc. Electronics with 5 to 7 year experience in Embedded Test and Software Quality Assurances.
• Knowledge of Industrial communication protocol
• Strong problem solving / interaction management skills.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office tools for effective communications and information management.
• Ability to organize, prepare and make compelling presentations.

• Experience in Industrial Protocol. Modbus,Bluetooth, Profinet , Ethernet-IP etc
• Hands on experience on one or more Programming Like C/C#/ Python
• Awareness of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Agile Scrum certification
