About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Power BI/Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimize robust data models, pipelines, and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data architecture, data integration, and BI tools, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into scalable data strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data models and pipelines to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable data solutions.
• Manage data integration and ETL processes, ensuring accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Oversee data warehousing solutions, optimizing for efficiency and availability.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver clear insights to stakeholders.
• Implement data governance and security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Monitor data health, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high levels of data integrity.
• Mentor junior data engineers and promote best practices in data engineering and BI reporting.
• Stay up to date with emerging data engineering tools, technologies, and trends.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, ETL design, and data management principles.
• Hands-on experience in data warehousing solutions and database management systems.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in a hybrid setup with onsite and remote teams.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in SQL, DAX, and data modeling in Power BI.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or other cloud-based data services.
• Experience with Python/Scala/Java for data processing.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance standards.
• Leadership experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
