Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Tester should possess a comprehensive understanding of the product development process and their role within it. The QA Tester is motivated to contribute to delivering a solid product with their team, ensuring it is bug-free and prioritizing the best interests of the product and users.

Responsibilities

• Manual testing for hardware and software in development and beta stages
• Black box testing, exploratory testing, and ability to complete sanity tests
• Test new features and develop test cases for new or modified tasks
• Evaluate data and prioritize issues based on the severity of impairment to workflow
• Review tasks and checklists required for software deployment
• Provide test results, reporting, and metrics for project status
• Develop testing procedures used to verify that functionality aligns with requirements
• Establish and maintain documentation
• Recommend improvements or corrections to decision-makers
• Ensure testing is in place for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to features
• Communicate clearly (written and verbal) to describe program evaluations, testing, and correction plans
• Gather data to better inform the UX design of the Guide UI platform
  
  

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree required; a minimum of 2 years experience in a Quality Testing setting required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work at both detailed and abstract levels
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking, and resolving issues
• Proficiency in Google Suite of tools, especially Google Docs
• Self-motivated and proficient in time management skills
• Ability to adapt and be flexible in a fast, ever-changing environment
• Excellent organizational skills
