System Administrator (NuGenesis SDMS) - File Capture/Print Capture

Overview

Designation: System Administrator - NuGenesis SDMS (File Capture / Print Capture)

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in administering NuGenesis SDMS, particularly in Print Capture /File Capture functionalities

Work Timing: US ( PST ) Hours (Work schedule can be split into 4 hours PM (IST) and 4 hours AM (PST) working hours once KT (Knowledge Transfer) days are completed for new Joiners - depending on daylight saving)

Job Role: We are looking for an experienced NuGenesis SDMS System Administrator with deep expertise in File Capture and Print Capture modules. The candidate will be responsible for system configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and supporting daily operations of the NuGenesis Scientific Data Management System. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, QA, and Lab users to ensure system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards such as GxP and 21 CFR Part 11.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain NuGenesis SDMS system including File Capture and/or Print Capture modules
• Configure capture routes, templates, workflows, and system user roles/permissions
• Provide technical support to lab and business users for data capture and retrieval
• Perform system upgrades, patches, backups, and ensure disaster recovery readiness
• Ensure compliance with data integrity, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 standards
• Develop and maintain system documentation including SOPs, Work Instructions, and validation records
• Collaborate with CSV and QA teams for validation and audit-readiness
• Conduct training for end-users and troubleshoot system issues
• Monitor system health and performance, address technical bottlenecks, and escalate as needed
• Participate in global or cross-site SDMS deployment and harmonization initiative.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with NuGenesis SDMS administration (File Capture and/or Print Capture modules)
• Experience with Windows Server OS, IIS, and SQL Server (configuration and maintenance)
• Understanding of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and Data Integrity principles
• Experience in configuring print capture templates, file capture routes, and workflow automation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience with user access and security management in validated environments

Desired Skills:

• Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, VBScript, or similar)
• Experience integrating SDMS with LIMS/ELN or other laboratory systems
• Familiarity with Change Control, Incident Management, and Validation Lifecycle
• Knowledge of Documentum or other ECM systems
• Prior experience working in regulated pharma/biotech environments
