Technical Lead - Automation

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Selenium and Java to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and manual QA to understand requirements and develop robust test scenarios.
• Conduct end-to-end functional and regression testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects to closure.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to enhancing automation frameworks.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Java with Oops concepts
• Expertise in Selenium automation using WebDriver
• Postman (API Testing Tool) / Rest Assured (Java Library for API Automation/ Automates REST API testing using Java code)/ Cucumber (BDD (Behavior Driven Development) Framework) - (anyone or equivalent)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good at communication and articulation

Nice to Have:

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
