Technical Lead

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Tech Lead – Node.js to join our fast-growing engineering team in the E-commerce domain. This is a unique leadership opportunity to architect and build robust backend systems, mentor talented developers, and play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our product. As a Tech Lead, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leading the design and implementation of microservices and high-performance systems that power a next-gen e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead backend architecture and development using Node.js and microservices-based design.
• Design, build, and scale backend services, APIs, and real-time data processing pipelines.
• Spearhead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and make strategic decisions on scalability and system design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, DevOps, frontend developers, and QA.
• Optimize MySQL databases and implement ecient querying using Sequelize ORM.
• Implement advanced search functionality with Elasticsearch.
• Ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and work closely with DevOps for cloud infrastructure optimization (AWS preferred).
• Enforce best practices for code quality, performance, security, and testing.
• Mentor and guide a team of backend engineers, promoting a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Node.js.
• Proven experience in designing and scaling backend systems in the E-commerce domain.
• Solid understanding of Express.js, Sequelize ORM, and MySQL.
• Experience working with Elasticsearch for search indexing and querying.
• Proficient in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and RESTful API development.
• Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Docker.
• Strong debugging skills and experience troubleshooting performance and scalability issues.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities – capable of mentoring junior developers and leading project initiatives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
