Job Description Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a robust blend of Project Management expertise and a deep understanding of the Product Development lifecycle. They will manage the full lifecycle of product development from concept to delivery, ensuring products are developed with a focus on customer needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility. With a blend of Agile and traditional project management methodologies, this role requires someone who can work across product and cross-functional teams to align on goals, manage the development process, and ensure successful product and business readiness and delivery.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of products from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA) to define product requirements, create roadmaps, align on goals and build comprehensive business cases.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, marketing, legal, finance and business systems to gather input and build comprehensive launch readiness plans.
• Coordinate the execution of product launch readiness plans for early adopter and general availability releases.
• Manage product scope, timelines, resources, and risks, ensuring milestones are met and changes are well-communicated.
• Drive Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban) across teams, running key ceremonies like sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives to ensure efficient delivery.
• Provide clear communication to stakeholders about progress, risks, and outcomes, keeping everyone aligned on goals and timelines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, providing clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure successful project execution.
• Identify and remove blockers to ensure smooth product development, facilitating collaboration and decision-making across teams.
• Lead post-project reviews/retrospectives to evaluate outcomes, capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement and best practice sharing.
• Lead the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of products from concept to launch.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or other complimentary field of study, or equivalent experience and / or education
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the definition and management of technical implementation projects
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is preferred
• Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet or Azure DevOps
• Extremely organized and a good multi-tasker, ability to prioritize based on customer needs and business impact
• Collaborative and approachable, fosters strong relationships across teams and the organization to drive effective teamwork and communication
• Personable and easy to work with, builds relationships across the team and company
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Experience working in SaaS or cloud-based software environments
• Clear, concise communicator
