UI/UX Developer - Adobe XD

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled UI/UX Developer with 3-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

You will be responsible for translating user needs and business requirements into intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences.

This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, front-end development best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and engineers.

You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization and prototyping to implementation and : Experience (UX) Design & Research (as applicable based on experience level) :

• User Research & Analysis : Participate in and potentially lead user research activities such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitive analysis to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
• Information Architecture : Develop and refine information architecture, user flows, and navigation systems to ensure seamless and logical user journeys.
• Wireframing & Prototyping : Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) to visualize and test design concepts.
• Usability Testing & Iteration : Plan, conduct, and analyze usability testing sessions to identify areas for improvement and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
• User Journey Mapping & Personas : Develop user journey maps and user personas to gain a deeper understanding of target audiences and their interactions with our products.
• Accessibility : Ensure all designs and developed interfaces adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG guidelines) to create inclusive experiences for all users.
  
  

User Interface (UI) Design & Development

• Visual Design Implementation : Translate UI designs (mockups and style guides) into clean, efficient, and maintainable front-end code.
• Front-End Development : Develop responsive and cross-browser compatible user interfaces using HTML, CSS (including preprocessors like Sass or Less), and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Component-Based Development : Build reusable UI components and patterns to ensure consistency and efficiency across the product.
• API Integration : Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs to fetch and display data effectively.
• Performance Optimization : Optimize front-end code for speed, scalability, and performance.
• Version Control : Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development and code management.
• Testing & Debugging : Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and stability of the front-end code. Debug and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Collaboration with Designers : Work closely with UI/Visual Designers to understand design specifications, provide technical feedback, and ensure accurate implementation.
• Collaboration with Backend Engineers : Collaborate with backend engineers to define API requirements and ensure seamless data flow.
• Staying Updated : Keep abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and best & Communication :
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Effectively communicate and collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Presenting Design Solutions : Clearly articulate design rationale and present design solutions to stakeholders.
• Providing Feedback : Offer constructive feedback on design and development work.
• Documentation : Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for UI components, design patterns, and development :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
• 3-8 years of proven experience as a UI/UX Developer or a similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design and front-end development skills, including examples of web and/or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors like Sass or Less), and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Solid understanding and practical experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework/library (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with responsive design principles and building cross-browser compatible applications.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of usability testing methodologies and the ability to analyze test results.
• Understanding of accessibility guidelines (WCAG).
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
