Job Title: UI/UX developer

Location: Nagercoil

JOB SUMMARY:

We’re an innovative company driven by creativity and technology. We’re seeking a talented UI/UX Developer who can design exceptional user experiences and transform them into high-performing, pixel-perfect interfaces.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. User Interface (UI) Design

- Create visually appealing, consistent, and interactive UI components (buttons, menus, forms, etc.).

- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.

- Ensure responsive design for web and mobile platforms.

- Implement branding guidelines (colors, typography, and style).

2. User Experience (UX)

- Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs.

- Create user flows, personas, and journey maps for better experience mapping.

- Optimize designs based on user feedback and A/B testing.

- Ensure ease of navigation and accessibility (WCAG compliance).

3. Front-End Development

- Convert UI/UX designs into working web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).

- Work on interactive animations and micro-interactions for better user engagement.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and fast loading times.

4. Collaboration

- Work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers.

- Translate technical requirements into design-friendly solutions.

- Use tools like Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration.

5. Continuous Improvement

- Stay updated on design trends, front-end technologies, and UX principles.

- Optimize UI for performance and mobile responsiveness.

- Conduct regular audits of user interfaces to improve usability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field. Certification or courses in UI/UX designing is an added advantage.

Experience: 1-2 years of proven experience as a UI/UX developer with a strong portfolio.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

- Solid understanding of Front-end coding – HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (plus frameworks like React or Vue).

- Familiarity with UX research – wireframing, prototyping, usability testing.

- Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile app design guidelines.

Soft skills:

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail and a commitment to creating exceptional user experiences.

User Empathy - Ability to understand and anticipate user needs, preferences, and pain points, creating designs that enhance their experience.
