About the job:

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain robust, scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
2. Write clean, reusable, and efficient code for both frontend and backend.
3. Design and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
4. Ensure cross-platform optimization and responsiveness of applications.
5. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to implement new features.
6. Optimize performance, troubleshoot, and fix bugs across the stack.
7. Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth).
8. Work with Git for version control and follow CI/CD pipelines.
9. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile development.


Tech Stack & Tools:

1. Frontend: React.js, Redux/Context API, Tailwind CSS, Material UI, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
2. Backend: Node.js, Express.js
3. Database: MongoDB, Mongoose
4. Authentication: JWT, OAuth
5. APIs: RESTful APIs, third-party API integration
6. DevOps & Tools: Git, GitHub/GitLab, Postman, Docker (optional), AWS/GCP (optional)
7. Testing: Jest, Mocha/Chai (optional)

Skills required:

MySQL, JavaScript, MongoDB, Node.js, Express.js, React, Google Cloud Platforms (GCP) and MERN

Other Requirements:

1. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

2. Experience with MySQL or other relational database management systems.

3. Knowledge of responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).

4.Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

5. Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

6. Basic understanding of web security practices.
