We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst.

Principal Responsibilities

• Provide Business, Product Owner and Agile team with the functional support whilst evolving the product roadmap, creation of user stories and managing the product backlog
• Extensive domain knowledge of Core Banking, Payments & Lending
• Payments, account creation journey/ servicing, product manufacturing etc
• Supports the Product Owner or act as a Product Owner to evolve Product roadmap, creation of epics and writing of user stories and managing the product backlog
• Perform solution analysis on customer journeys and product functionality
• Work within small to medium sized, low to medium complexity technology projects which can span across multiple business units and geographies
• Be responsible for ensuring the team works within an Agile delivery methodology and that the backlog of requirements and solution analysis feeds into Technology Projects and Programmes
• Understand risk exposure to the bank and help scrum masters, project managers and senior colleagues manage it
• Support delivery throughout the entire lifecycle of the project from user requirements to go live
• Strong domain knowledge of Core Banking, Lending & Payments. Contribute to the development and learnability in Core banking
• Possess at least one technical capability such as cloud, digital, security, microservice, architecture platform experience
• Have experience leading Agile teams preferably using DevOps practices such as continuous integration, continuous deployment, and test automation. You will have working knowledge of Agile ways of working and tools (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, LEAN, JIRA, Confluence)
• Additionally, experience in Disciplined Agile and SAFE framework will be preferred
• Supports Production issues and functional queries on priority basis
• Creates analysis of customer journeys and product functionality
• Helps to define and track metrics and Performance Indicators for the product
• Guides the Agile Team performance and outcome metrics as required
• Provides expertise in process and a low level understanding of multiple areas, such as: disciplined Agile software delivery, production support processes, continuous DevOps pipelines
• Understands risk exposure to the bank and help senior colleagues manage it
• Contributes to the development of the BA elements of the IT Portfolio and Programme Management practice. Encourages adoption of the practice across the BA community

• Additionally:
• Hands on and recent experience in core banking application with domain expertise in
• CASA (Term deposits, Demand deposits, Negative credit products, Overdrafts)
• Account management and creation modules in Core Banking
• Payments- end to end payments processing including settlements, exception handling, reporting/ statements/ advices for payments.
• Finance – Should have worked on Core banking as a ledger or Subledger. Should be able to articulate accounting flows for transactions arising internally or via external interfaces
• Not a mandatory requirement but good to have, if the candidate has experience in FX processing, Limits, charges, tax, nostro vostro, reconciliation, risk & compliance in core banking area
• Modernization experience in Events or API’s or Microservices or Cloud (one of these will also suffice)
• Certified PSPO or Product management or CBAP certification
• Hands on working experience in Agile environment ( Preferably SAFE)
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Core Banking ( BA/PO/PM)
  

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Job Control Language (JCL): IN Stream & Catalogue Procedures, Control Cards, SDFS (Spool), SPICE, SAR & MVS JCL Utilities.
• COBOL Programs & ZO\S: Strong understanding of COBOL Programs (working storage, copy books & sub routines) and Z\OS concepts including mainframe utilities. Hands on knowledge on Restartable programs.
• DB2 (SQL): Strong understanding of relational database concepts and advanced SQL, including SQL Error Codes.
• CICS: All Infrastructure Setup (PCP, PIP, KCP, SCP etc.) knowledge. Hands on with writing CICS programs in linkage with Front End Systems, BMS
• TSO, ISPF: Hands on Knowledge
• Hands on Knowledge on REXX, EZYTRIEVE & SELCOPY
• Knowledge of following tools – Endevor, File Manager, Road Runner, CLARITY, Fault Analyser, R2DS, RDz, RTC, SONAR
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self Sufficiency/Initiative: Demonstrate self-sufficiency on the role, combined with an initiative to resolve errors and provide solutions that attack the root cause of the problem
• Desired skills are Core Java, SQL Database Knowledge, Spring Boot/Spring Data JPA/J2EE/Servlets, Webservices (REST, SOAP), Microservices working experience, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) /Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certification, Knowledge of following tools – Maven, GIT, Jenkins, Any point Studio, Spring Tool Suite (STS).
