About the job:

Key responsibilities:

1. Architect and develop robust front-end website architecture with scalable and maintainable code.
2. Lead the design and implementation of advanced user interactions and workflows.
3. Build and maintain high-performance back-end applications using PHP (preferably Laravel/CodeIgniter).
4. Design and manage optimized servers, cloud deployments, and databases for high-availability systems.
5. Ensure cross-platform optimization, responsive UI, and mobile-first development practices.
6. Drive projects from conception to production deployment with complete ownership.
7. Design, document, and develop secure, scalable APIs and third-party integrations.
8. Balance technical and business requirements to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions.
9. Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in web and SAAS development.
10. Lead post-deployment maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Manage the complete SDLC and enforce best engineering practices across the team.
11. Oversee and guide code reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD implementation.
Implement automated testing and monitor quality through performance metrics.
12. Troubleshoot, modify, and enhance legacy systems while ensuring minimal downtime.

Skills required:

PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Linux, Apache Server, GitHub and Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Other Requirements:

1. Strong knowledge of Core PHP.

2. Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MySQL, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, API, Node.js.

3. Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.

4. Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, indexing, and database normalization.

5. Familiarity with REST APIs and API authentication methods (OAuth, JWT).

6. Proficiency in Git for source code management and team collaboration.

7. Expertise in preventing common vulnerabilities (XSS, SQL injection, CSRF).

8. Knowledge of SSL, encryption, and secure session management.

9. Experience with unit testing (PHP Unit) and debugging tools.

10. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

11. Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills.

12. Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Git, and responsive design principles.

13. Advanced knowledge of PHP, MySQL (including optimization & indexing).

14. Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Node.js, and Ajax.

15. Proven experience with API design, RESTful services, and third-party integrations.

Strong understanding of cloud hosting (AWS) and deployment automation.

16. Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams.

17. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities with attention to detail.
