About the job:

As a Software Developer at InstaAstro, you will play a key role in building and scaling real-world products that impact millions of users. With strong mentorship and continuous feedback, you'll work on meaningful problems and ship solutions end-to-end.

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and ship backend features end-to-end using Python, Java, C, or C++, with guidance from senior engineers.
2. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and automate repetitive workflows wherever possible.
3. Debug and resolve issues using logs, metrics, and traces, focusing on identifying and fixing root causes.
4. Apply strong data structures, algorithms, and design principles to build efficient and reliable systems.
5. Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
6. Participate actively in code reviews, contributing to high code quality and shared learning.
7. Work with Git, SQL, and web fundamentals (HTTP/REST APIs) to support backend development.
8. Continuously learn and stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies.
